Oklahoma U.S. Sen. Jim Inhofe and James Lankford think alike when it comes to the Democrats’ Green New Deal.
Both contend it is really about ‘socialism’ and not so much about protecting the environment and fighting climate change. Sen. Lankford made the claim last week in an interview with OK Energy Today.
This week, Sen. Inhofe made the same claim as he discussed a number of issues with Ron Hays at the Oklahoma Farm Report.
As Hays reported, Inhofe took a hard stance on the deal proposed by Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, the Democrat from New York.
“Inhofe denounced the legislation as being “completely socialist” and remarked on his inability to believe such a proposal was introduced by a United States Senator,” reported Hays.
