Oklahoma’s latest earthquake was Thursday morning near the Logan County town of Coyle and measured 2.7 magnitude.
The U.S. Geological Survey recorded it at 5:26 a.m. and was only about a mile in depth. The epicenter was .3 mile west of Coyle and about 12 miles northeast of Guthrie.
The quake is in the area where there have been dozens of earthquakes that scientists believe are connected to wastewater well operations.
