The STACK continues delivering big wells for oil and gas explorers.
The latest completion reports from the Oklahoma Corporation Commission show Oklahoma City-based Continental Resources recently finishing a well that produced more than 1,600 barrels of oil daily. The Bailey 1-34-3XH well is located approximately 4 miles west of the Blaine county community of Greenfield and has official production of 1,636 barrels a day along with 16,516 Mcf of natural gas.
The well was spudded in late April and drilling was finished a month later in the Mississippi Lime with completion made September 15, 2017.
Marathon Energy recently brought in 4 wells in Kingfisher county, the largest with production of 992 barrels a day. The Eve 1506—17MH is about 6 miles southeast of Kingfisher and was spudded June 30. Drilling finished August 16 and completion was on September 18.
