Oklahoma Gov. Mary Fallin has reappointed Dr. David Conway of Durant to the Oklahoma Aeronautics Commission.
His new term will extend to Dec. 31 of 2022. Conway, a retired Air Force command pilot has been on the Commission since 2009.
He’s been flying since 1973 and holds commercial, instrument, CFI and multi-engine ratings. In the Air Force he served as an instructor pilot and evaluator pilot in the Cessna T-37 and Boeing KC-135. Conway is also one of a handful of flight-rate aerospace physiologists.
Dr. Conway is retired from Southeastern Oklahoma State University where he served as director of the University’s Aviation Sciences Institute.
