No Slowdown in Oil and Gas Drilling in Oklahoma

Who’s drilling and where?  A quick check of the Daily Permits report on applications to drill in Oklahoma shows more growth in Oklahoma’s STACK oil and gas play.

Jones Energy LLC, based in Austin, Texas is expanding its drilling ventures in the state. Historically, Jones has explored in western Oklahoma and the Texas Panhandle, areas that make up the Anadarko Basin. But this week it received permits to drill three wells at the same site in Canadian County. All three Rosewood wells are located at 16 12N 7W, the same site in the city limits of El Reno. They’ll be drilled in a small rural area northwest of the Diffee Ford Motor company.

P.O. and G Operating LLC is drilling two wells in Cimarron County in the Panhandle.

Bravo Arkoma LLC received two permits to drill in Coal County in the southeastern part of the state. Tapstone Energy LLC and Comanche Exploration Co. LLC will be drilling in Dewey County.

RicmRock Resource Operating has a permit to drill in Garvin County. Rebellion Energy LLC picked up a permit for Grady County.

Logan County is where Bostick Servics Corporation will be drilling while Redbud E and P Inc. has intentions to explore in McIntosh County.

Earlsboro Energies Corporation has a permit to explore in Woods county and Chesapeake Operating LLC got a permit to drill in Woodward County.
