Oklahoma City businesswoman Terry Neese has been named a co-chair of Donald Trump’s Small Business Advisory Council to assist with his presidential campaign.

The council is meant to advise Trump on small business issues, including those affecting small energy-related companies whether it be in oil and gas or wind.

Dr. Neese is founder of Terry Neese Personnel Services, a job-search and placement company founded more than 30 years ago. She also founded other groups such as the National Grassroots Network, Women Impacting Public Policy and the Institute for Economic Empowerment of Women. She is also a member of the U.S. Afghan Women’s Council and is past national president of the National Association of Women business Owners.

The Trump campaign said the small business owners formed the council to help formulate solutions and contrast them with those of the other candidates. The council is said to be geographically, gender and ethnically diverse.

Some of the others on the council include Erica Taylor of Kansas, Mike Whalen of Iowa, Robin Dozier Otten of New Mexico, David Barker of Iowa and Kathy Bennett of Missouri.
