Republican presidential candidate Donald J. Trump is scheduled to attend a campaign fundraiser in Norman on Saturday, September 17 near the University of Oklahoma campus.

The venue isn’t listed on the invitation but it will be within walking distance of the OU campus, where the No. 14-ranked Sooners will host the No. 3-ranked Ohio State University Buckeyes in a gridiron match.

Governor Mary Fallin and Trump’s key energy advisor, Harold Hamm, are among the hosts for the fundraiser, which has a minimum price of $1,000 per person and a $50,000 price tag for event chairs, according to The Oklahoman.

Oklahoma will be well represented with many ties to the energy industry including Robert Hefner IV of Continental Resources, Jeffrey McDougall of JMA Energy Co., LLC, John T. McNabb II of Cypress Energy Partners, L.P. and Harold Mathena, all listed as event chairs. Kelly and Joe Craft of Tulsa’s Alliance Coal is also listed, along with David Green, the founder of Hobby Lobby.
