Could Low Oil Prices Result in Fewer Saudi Arabian Students at US Schools?

If it’s happening in Kansas—-it’s happening in Oklahoma. Fewer Saudi Arabian students at universities and colleges because of the drop in oil prices. Officials at Wichita State University recently said losing the Saudi Arabian students could cost the school nearly $4 million a year in revenue. WSU has 319 Saudi students attending school and they were supported by scholarships funded by the Saudi government. But the Saudi government has cut its scholarships for students studying overseas.
