Matrix Service Expands with Purchase of Australian Firm

Tulsa-based Matrix Service Company has wrapped up its purchase of Baillie Tank Equipment, a company based in Australia with manufacturing operations in Seoul, South Korea.

No financial details were made available but the acquisition will mean a major expansion for Matrix because Baillie Tank Equipment has a customer base in more than 85 countries and annual revenues of more than $20 million.

Matrix Service is a 32-year old company and is parent to a family of companies that include Matrix Service, Matrix NAC, Matrix PDM Engineering and Matrix Applied Technologies. While it is headquartered in Tulsa, the company has subsidiary offices throughout the U.S. and Canada as well as in Australia and South Korea.

BTE was founded in 1998 and is considered a premiere provider of FlowDome geodesic domes, aluminum internal floating roofs, floating suction and skimmer systems, roof drain systems, floating roof seals and more.
