Mach Natural Resources relies on experience of leadership

One thing leaps out when you take a look at the leadership of Mach Natural Resources, an energy firm headquartered in Oklahoma City.

The eight leaders share extensive experience with the firm formerly known as Chesapeake Energy, SandRidge Energy and Tapstone. Seven executive officers worked for SandRidge Energy while four others were employed at Chesapeake Energy.

Mach Natural Resources filed this week its June 2025 Investor Presentation indicating the oil and gas experience by its executives.

Tom L. Ward Chief Executive Officer 40+

At the same time, the company’s June presentation indicated the firm is running 2 rigs in the third quarter, one in the deep gas area of the STACK play and one in the Red Fork in Western Oklahoma. The report stated there are “promising results from private offset operators who have already delineated the play.” Mach also believes there is potential to increase to 3 rigs in the fourth quarter by adding a second deep gas rig optionality to resume Oswego drilling with moderate oil price recovery.
