A revival of the Keystone XL pipeline?
It’s what President Trump is talking about, stating Monday he wants to revive the pipeline killed by former President Joe Biden on day-one of his presidency.
But the developer isn’t so eager to jump on the bandwagon.
“The company building the Keystone XL Pipeline that was viciously jettisoned by the incompetent Biden Administration should come back to America, and get it built – NOW!” Trump said in a post on his social media network reported Bloomberg.
“If not them, perhaps another Pipeline Company,” Trump added. “We want the Keystone XL Pipeline built!”
TC Energy Corp. had pipes and equipment in place to begin the line that would carry carry Canadian oil sands crude to Nebraska.
It would eventually hook up to the existing Keystone pipeline that was built to move crude oil to the Cushing hub in northern Oklahoma and on to the gulf coast refineries.
But South Bow Corp., the business spun off from TC Energy Corp. said it is not interested and key permits expired.
