Fort Riley, Kansas, home to the Big Red One, is also home to one of the largest renewable energy projects in the state of Kansas.
Onyx Renewables announced completion of Phase 3 of its onsite solar energy project at the large Army post. The total installed solar capacity at the military garrison now exceeds 16 MW, reported Solar Power World.
Work on the first phase was finished in 2018.
