Electric vehicle owners in Kanas who thought they could get continued tax credits under a 1995 law were caught unaware after the credit was sabotaged by amendments to the law.
The Kansas Reflector reports individuals with EVs are no longer allowed to claim the tax break but corporations can. A state audit revealed that political opposition led to the change in the law.
