Colorado regulators move to seize oil firm’s old wells

If the efforts of Colorado regulators are successful, an oil and gas firm will be banned from operating in the states and adding its 107 old wells to the orphaned well program.

KT Resources is being targeted by the Colorado Energy and Carbon Management Commission. The commission is being urged by staff to block the company from operating in the state, seizing $317,000 in reclamation bonds and its 107 aging wells.
