What a way to celebrate New Year’s Eve in Puerto Rico…..nearly the entire country lost electrical power.
More than a million customers were without power after the outage struck the country at dawn. Hopes for a quick return of electrical power were dashed by officials who said it might take two days for full restoration.
Luma Energy, the private company overseeing electricity transmission and distribution said 90% of its 1.47million clients were left in the dark.
