“I do not want a not want a nuclear waste facility in the city of Fort Smith,” Fort Smith City Director Neal Martin said at meeting reported KFSM TV news.
Fort Smith is reported to be among more than two dozen sites the U.S. Energy Department has proposed. Arkansas Nuclear Voice, a group funded by the Energy Department, hosted a community forum this week.
