Environmentalists are heaping criticism on North Dakota Gov. Doug Burgum, the choice by President-elect Trump to be Interior Secretary with one group calling him an oligarch and a disastrous pick.
Western members of Congress praised the choice because Burgum is a supporter of the oil and gas industry. After all, his state is home to Bakken shale and is one of the largest oil producing states in the country.
