Despite the Biden-Harris administration’s efforts to eliminate oil and gas production, oil production in the nation’s two top regions, the Permian and Bakken basins, are turning out oil and gas at rates not seen in 13 years.
It even has one organization, Macquarie Group, predicting the country’s crude production will be far stronger than most views.
Rigs in the Midland basin of Texas and New Mexico, some of them run by Oklahoma oil and gas companies, drilled a reported average of 47 miles of horizontal lateral wells in the year that ended in June, reported Bloomberg. It’s a record that goes back to 2011.
