Legislator files complaint to remove Todd Hiett from hearing OGE issues at the Oklahoma Corporation Commission

Inola State Rep. Tom Gann took his fight another step this week against Oklahoma Corporation Commissioner Todd Hiett  following allegations of drunkenness and groping of a man in public against Hiett.

The Republican legislator on Thursday filed a formal complaint with the Commission stating that Hiett should not be taking part in fuel adjustment clause reviews for Oklahoma Gas and Electric. Rep. Gann is asking for a hearing and in his complaint pointed to Commission laws which he says should result in a hearing.

Gann argued that the OGE employees/agents/representatives are alleged to have direct knowledge of the “alleged criminal conduct” by Commissioner Hiett. The identity of either the victim or witnesses  to the alleged groping of a man at a bar during a national convention in June has never been publicly revealed. Yet Gann believes someone with the utility or a representative of OG&E was involved in the reported groping incident.
