US Sen. Markwayne Mullin and Oklahoma House Speaker Charles McCall apparently thought their joint appearances earlier this year were so successful, they’re going to do it again.
Next week, the two will continue their State and Federal Partnership Series: ‘Serving Oklahoma 101’ with joint events and gatherings in Atoka and Durant.
These panel-style conversations will include a series of informative discussions regarding the role of state and federal leadership, their differences in responsibility, and how Oklahoma’s local, state, and federal leadership can work together to address many of the state’s most important priorities.
“I look forward to continuing the panel conversations with Speaker McCall,” said Sen. Mullin. “The first leg of this series was a huge success, and I am confident the same will go for next week’s events. Constituent services remains my number one priority in Congress and educating constituents on the differences between federal and state jurisdictions will allow our offices to serve them more effectively.”
