A pulling unit or workover rig at an oil well site in Grady County exploded and caught fire Monday afternoon and sent three workers to the hospital.
Not many details are known but the well site is near the town of Bradley and on County Street 2990 near North Boundary Street.
Bradley is a small community of about 80 residents between the cities of Lindsay and Alex.
The workover rig is used to typically pull pipe as part of the repair or maintenance of a producing well.
Live reporting by News 9 TV helicopter pilot Jim Gardner showed the burned rig and well site as well as an adjacent tanker truck.
The extent of the injuries of the reported two workers is not known. The identity of the workover company is also not known at this time.
