Saturday morning temperatures to drop to the 30s and 40s in Oklahoma

Not quite time for “frost on the pumpkins” but it’s getting close in Oklahoma this weekend.

Above is the prediction from the Oklahoma Mesonet Climatologist Gary McManus.

“That’ll freeze your pumpkins (and we all know just how painful that can be). That’ll be the coldest weather we’ve seen in the state since May 3, when Nowata dropped to 32 degrees, which is also the last freeze we’ve seen in the state,” he wrote in Thursday’s Mesonet update.
