The comment from Oklahoma City oilman Harold Hamm at the start of an energy security summit at the institute that bears his name. The billionaire leader of Continental Resources said there should be an end to the back-and-forth energy policies of the U.S.
“It’s so important that we have an energy policy that’s lasting and somebody can’t tinker with it from one administration to the next,” said Hamm in front of some oil industry executives and others who gathered prior to Monday’s American Energy Security Summit where presidential hopefuls and former energy secretaries were among the speakers.
