The U.S. Senate’s recent approval of the Fiscal Year 2024 National Defense Authorization Act resulted in more than $170 million for Oklahoma’s military installations.

“I’m glad that we were able to land significant victories for our state and our country in this year’s NDAA,” said Sen. Markwayne Mullin in referring to the funding for the five military installations in the state.

“We secured new funding for Tinker Air Force Base’s KC-46 Maintenance Hangar, Fort Sill’s Microgrid and Backup Power project, Vance Air Force Base’s Consolidated Undergraduate Pilot Training Center, McAlester Army Ammunition Plant’s new Water Treatment Plant, and so much more.”

The Senator pointed how the five world-class installations in the state have been instrumental in training America’s warfighters and the McAlester Army Ammunition plant keeps them supplied on the battlefield.
