Canvas Energy shows production from 3 Kingfisher County wells

Oklahoma Shale Driller Chaparral Rebrands as Canvas Energy | Hart Energy

 

Canvas Energy LLC of Oklahoma City, formerly Chaparral Energy, filed completion reports on three wells drilled on a single pad in Kingfisher County that had combined production of more than 600 barrels of oil a day.

Drilled at 36 17N 7W, a site several miles north of the city of Kingfisher, the Corner Pocket wells were completed in February of this year.

The Corner Pocket 1707 3lohx-25 produced 197 barrels of oil a day and 224 Mcf of natural gas from a drilled depth of 15,765 feet in the Mississippian formation. Spud in July 2022, the well had a true vertical depth of 7,820 according to the completion report.

The Corner Pocket 1707 2loh-25 produced 207 barrels of oil a day and 205 Mcf of natural gas. Its drilled depth was 13,240 feet and the completion report showed a true vertical depth of 7,825 feet. The well was spud in June of last year.

The Corner Pocket 1707 4lohx-25, with a drilled depth of 16,068 feet, produced 235 barrels of oil a day and 508 Mcf of natural gas. The completion report showed the well’s true vertical depth was 7,798 feet following an early July spud in 2022.

The combined production from the 3 wells was 639 barrels of oil a day.
