Add Kansas Congressman Jake LaTurner among those upset over the decision of EV makers to stop installing AM radios because the EV power interferes with the system.

Rep.La Turner argues millions of people rely on AM radios for their weather, agriculture and emergency information—not to mention conservative news and talk shows.

The Kansas Reflector reported the Republican congressman introduced a two-page nonbinding resolution with U.S. Rep. Mark Alford, a Missouri Republican, to amplify criticism of manufacturers that made the decision or were contemplating removal of AM radio technology from new vehicles, especially electric cars.
