Ovintiv scores with more big producers in Kingfisher County

 

Mention Ovintiv USA and Kingfisher County in Oklahoma and visions of big producing oil wells come to mind.

It happened again as the company reported completions on four wells drilled on a single pad with combined oil production of nearly 4,300 barrels a day.

All four Gravitt wells were drilled at 30 15N 7W, a mile northwest of the city of Okarche and produced out of the Mississippian formation. The Gravitt 1507 4h-30 was the largest producer with 1,266 barrels of oil a day and 1,603 Mcf of natural gas from a drilled depth of 14,093 feet and a true vertical depth of 8,839 feet. The well was spud in August, 2022 and completed in early February of 2023 according to the completion report.

The Gravitt 1507 3h-30 had the second most production of 1,218 barrels of oil a day and 1,413 Mcf of natural gas from a drilled depth of 14,390 feet and a true vertical depth of 8,923 feet. It was spud in August 2022 and completed in February 2023 per the completion report.

The Gravitt 1507 2h-30 had production of 903 barrels of oil a day and 1,138 Mcf of natural gas. Drilled depth was 13,855 while the true vertical depth was cited at 8,769 feet. The well was spud in July 2022 and completed in February of this year according to the completion report.

The Gravitt 1507 5h-30 had production of 885 barrels of oil a day and 1,396 Mcf of natural gas. Drilled depth was 14,390 feet while the true vertical depth was 8,923 feet according to the completion report. The well was spud in August of 2022.
