A county in Iowa has proposed wind turbine setbacks of up to two miles from the nearest residences.
It’s in Woodbury County where the board of supervisors is considering revising the setback requirement, increasing it from the current 600 feet to 2 miles.
As KCAU reported, some residents think 2 miles is still not enough and wanted a 5-mile setback.
