Oklahoma  is reported to be the leading candidate for a solar-panel manufacturing facility that Enel North America wants to build.

It already has the support of Gov. Kevin Stitt who is urging the legislature to support an undisclosed incentive package to land the site that could result in 1,500 new jobs in northeast Oklahoma reported the Journal Record and The Frontier.

Enel North America already operates a handful of wind farms in the state and has a training center and office in Oklahoma City.
