Shocker—Gas powered cars are cheaper to drive than EVs reports 2022 study

 

Grab a hold of your steering wheel. A recent study found that in 2022, it was cheaper to drive a gasoline-powered car than an electric vehicle.

The study was conducted by the Anderson Economic Group in the final quarter of 2022. Its results? It found that drivers of the typical mid-priced internal combustion car paid about $11.29 to fuel their vehicles of 100 mile of driving, 31 cents cheaper than the amount paid by mid-prices EV drivers who charged mostly at home reported Benzinga.
