The man killed last weekend in the collapse of a sand cave along the Arkansas River in Tulsa was digging for buried copper wires.
The victim, according to his girlfriend, started digging weeks ago after he spotted copper wires sticking out of the embankment.
Fox 23 News reported it apparently was a strand of abandoned copper wire.
