As she prepares to be succeeded this week by former State Sen. Kim David, Oklahoma Corporation Commissioner Dana Murphy offered some recommendations and observations.
In an opinion column in the Sunday Oklahoman newspaper, Murphy wrote, “There is no ‘magic bullet’ that will solve all the challenges Oklahoma has and will face in the future as a state.”
Instead, the outgoing chairwoman of the 3-member commission said what is needed to solve those issues is cooperation, communication and collaboration.
She previously issued a tearful farewell Thursday during her last public meeting of the Commission.
