New Mexico nuke waste dump opens new storage

Nuclear waste is once again being hauled to the nation’s only underground nuclear waste repository, the Waste Isolation Pilot Plant near Carlsbad, New Mexico.

The company announced this week that a newly mined deposal area opened and waste is being hauled from Tennessee reported the Associated Press.
