Kansas Gas Service customers to be hit with higher monthly bills

Customers of Kansas Gas Service, a division of Oklahoma-based ONE Gas will be hit with higher bills beginning in December. Some of it is because of the same thing that caused Oklahoma gas consumers to pay higher bills—recovering the 2021 Winter storm costs.

The Kansas Corporation Commission approved a new Kansas Gas Service Company charge in August and as a result, customers will pay an additional $5.64 for the next six months and $5.11 a month for the following nine and a half years according to the Wichita Eagle.
