Crude oil prices made gains on Tuesday after there were signals from U.S. data indicating that inflation might be starting to decline.
West Texas Intermediate crude for December delivery recorded a $1.05 a barrel gain or more than 1% to settle at $86.92 on the New York Mercantile Exchange.
Global benchmark Brent crude for January delivery went up 72 cents or less than 1% and closed at $93.86 a barrel on ICE Futures Europe.
December natural gas rose 10 cents to $6.03 per 1,000 cubic feet.
Most Oklahoma energy stocks recorded gains for the day including a 5% increase for Ovintiv. The most dramatic drop of the day belonged to Mammoth Energy which suffered a nearly 24% loss.
