Ovintiv is far from being finished with its oil and gas exploration in Oklahoma’s STACK play.
The company received permits to drill this week from state regulators for more wells in Kingfisher County, a county where efforts have paid off handsomely.
The Denver-based company has plans for a three-well project on a single pad at 19 15N 8W, a site called The Rother Ranch about 7 miles northwest of Okarche.
Each of the wells will have a drilled depth of about 20,000 feet.
