New Mexico utility unveils plans to improve grid

Grid modernization plans by the Public Service Company of New Mexico total $344 million and will mean customers will pay an additional $1.20 in electricity bills over the next six years.

The utility filed its grid modernization plan on Monday with the New Mexico Public Regulation Commission reported the New Mexico Political Report.

PNM is a sister company of Public Service Company of Oklahoma.
