What would a nationwide rail strike mean to U.S.?


You think prices are high now?  Wait until a possible railway strike slaps the nation. Consumers will likely be reeling if it happens.

The White House scrambled this week to avoid the strike threatened by more than 90,000 workers from 13 unions around the nation, a strike they say will happen if they cannot reach a contract agreement with the National Railway Labor Conference, which represents the rail companies.
