Oilfield workforce struggles hit GDP in Oklahoma and other states

The struggle by oil and gas companies to restore their workforces is evident in the latest report showing Oklahoma and other energy-producing states had the biggest drops in Gross Domestic Products in the first quarter of 2022.

It’s clear that the effort to put workers back into the oilfields is so challenging that it resulted in idled rigs reported Stateline News.
