Just because Kansas landed a $4 billion Panasonic battery-manufacturing plant in competition over Oklahoma doesn’t mean the plant will actually create 4,000 new jobs.
It has come out that Kansas did not win a guarantee from Panasonic to create that many jobs and other aspects of the contract, one molded in secrecy by the governor and legislative leaders left some analysts shocked reported the Kansas City Star.
