More producers completed in Oklahoma’s STACK and SCOOP

Eleven months after Marathon Oil Company completed a Blaine County well with production of nearly 1,300 barrels of oil a day, it filed a completion report with Oklahoma regulators.

The J&m Bia 1510 3-30mh, located at 30 15N 10W, located 7 miles southeast of the city of Watonga was completed Aug. 9, 2021 with production of 1,271 barrels of oil a day and 4,296 Mcf of natural gas. The completion report showed drilling depth of 16,122 feet in the Mississippi Lime after a May, 2019 spud date.

Mewbourne Oil Company filed completions on two Ellis County wells. The Eliana 5/32 Nc 1h, drilled at 5 19N 25W, a site 7 miles west of Arnett produced 196 barrels of oil and 158 Mcf of natural gas a day from a depth of 19,085 feet in the Cherokee formation. The completion report showed a November 2021 spud date.

Mewbourne’s second Ellis County well was the Thelma 8/17 Ap 1h, drilled at 5 18N 24W, 5 miles south of Arnett. Its production was 610 barrels of oil and 549 Mcf of natural gas a day from a drilled depth of 20,075 in the Cherokee formation. The completion report showed a November 2021 spud date.

Two Grady County wells on a single pad were recently completed by Gulfport Midcon LLC with combined production totaling more than 800 barrels of oil a day but the natural gas was much greater.

The Nelda 5-4x33h, drilled at 4 4N 6W, a site about 4 miles southwest of Alex, produced 364 barrels of oil and 19,396 Mcf of natural gas a day from a depth of 25,165 feet in the Woodford formation. The completion report indicated the well was spudded in May of 2021 and completion was made in March 2022.

The Nelda 6-4x33h, also completed in March of this year from a depth of 25,429 feet had production of 21,395 Mcf of natural gas along with 462 barrels of oil a day. It had an April 2021 spud date according to the completion report.
