A $50 million landfill waste-to-energy gasification plant is coming to southeast Arkansas and it will be the first of its kind in the South.
Florida-based MD Power LLC plans to build and operate the plant. The trash won’t be burned but rather heated to the point it gasifies according to a report by Arkansas Business.
