Wind farm manufacturing plants run by Siemens will be closed temporarily in Hutchinson, Kansas and Iowa while the company waits for new wind turbine orders.
The Siemens Gamesa plants will shut down for the summer reported the Hutchinson News. The first closing will be at the blade manufacturing plant in Fort Madison, Iowa while the Hutchinson nacelle manufacturing plant will close in July.
