Despite a gain on Friday, crude oil prices settled lower in trading for the week as investors remained anxious over what the war in Ukraine will do with the market. The decline for the week was the steepest since November.
West Texas Intermediate cruder for April delivery jumped $3.31 to settle at $109.33 a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange.
Global benchmark Brent crude for May delivery went up $3.34 and closed at $112. 67 on ICE Futures Europe.
April natural gas rose 10 cents $4.73 per 1,000 cubic feet.
Friday was a down day for most Oklahoma energy stocks with the exception of Mammoth Energy Services which recorded a nearly 15% gain.
