The close of crude oil price trading Tuesday saw yet another rebound for U.S. prices. But it wasn’t the case for most Oklahoma energy stocks.
West Texas Intermediate crude for February delivery went up 41 cents or 0.54% to finish the day at $75.98 a barrel in trading on the New York Mercantile Exchange.
Global benchmark Brent crude for February delivery increased 34 cents to $78.94 a barrel on ICE Futures Europe.
January natural gas was unchanged at $4.06 per 1,000 cubic feet.
While oil rebounded, the day’s trading proved to be a weak one for Oklahoma energy stocks. NGL Energy Partners lost nearly 8% while Laredo Petroleum and Mammoth Energy Services fell more than 5%.
