Has the oil and gas industry recovered from the COVID-19 pandemic? Judging by recent acquisitions in the Permian Basin of West Texas and southeast New Mexico, some might say it’s more than proof that it has.
The Carlsbad Current-Argus reported that multiple deals valued at more than $100 million have been announced in recent weeks including the $406 million acquisition of Veritas Energy assets by Minnesota-based Northern Oil and Gas.
