Residents fight largest solar farm in Nebraska

New cash crop: Industrial-solar-farm boom hits Hoosier backlash

 

They’re calling it a “last-ditch battle” against what might be the largest solar farm in Nebraska, one that would cover 2,800 acres of land.

Residents east of Lincoln are opposed to the plan by Ranger Power to build a solar farm of up to 250 megawatts. And they’re going before the Lincoln-Lancaster County Planning Commission on Wednesday reports the Lincoln Journal Star.
