New Mexico utility customers with unpaid bills may face shutoffs in August

Public Service Company of New Mexico, the state’s largest utility says an estimated 50,000 customer could lose their power due to shutoffs if they don’t take steps as the pandemic moratorium on electricity payments ends.

That’s the number of customers who have past-due bills and might lose their power as soon as mid-August reported the Associated Press.
