After taking a more than $5 a barrel tumble on Monday, crude oil prices in the US managed a weak $1 rebound on Tuesday. As a result, Oklahoma energy stocks brought a sigh of relief to operators and investors.
West Texas Intermediate crude oil for August delivery finished one dollar higher at $67.42.
Global benchmark Brent crude oil for September delivery had a weaker response with only a 73 cent rebound to settle at $69.35 a barrel on ICE Futures Europe.
A day after Oklahoma energy stocks took a beating in Monday’s trading, most saw improvement but none like LSB Industries where the $2.09 jump in trading resulted in a nearly 43% gain. Its actual gain was 42.57% as shares finished at $7 for the day.
