In the far southeast corner of Missouri, work is underway for development of a $175 million solar farm that will take up 2,000 acres of land.
Final approval is being sought for the Kelso Solar Project to be located near Benton. The Southeast Missourian reported the farm is a joint venture of Arevon, an affiliate of Swiss-based Capital Dynamics and Tenaska Capital Management based in Omaha, Nebraska.
